Wholistic Community Based feeding program

With your support, Emissaries Mission did a feeding program for this poor community. It was initially very difficult to put together. The leaders of this community knew we are a Christian ministry, and for that reason, they said they don’t want any foreign gods. At this time, they were also planning their yearly festival where sacrifices are being done to appeal to their gods for provision and life. Emissaries Mission’s local volunteers were led by God to patiently wait for their festival to be over and then we went back to them again about our mission and they welcomed us by God’s grace and the program was successfully held.

Rice, vegetable oil and canned tomatoes were donated to the poor among them, and they were very appreciative and grateful. This new relationship has also opened the door for Emissaries Mission to come in and do community-based development in the future in partnership with the local churches. We could not have done this without your help!

The gospel was preached and many of these old men, women, and community leaders gave their lives to Christ as that was our major goal; to see the leaders of this community come to Christ as they believe in serving their mountain gods (idol worship).

The community leaders were very grateful.
